An explanation of why star shaped PAR or PPFD charts are not accurate and how to calculate the most useful information, the average PAR or PPFD level, from them. It's not 100% accurate but if you play around with the grid size over the chart you can cover the grow area evenly. Alter the size and number of the squares so that you have a useful measurement close to the centre of each square.
If you get used to it you can calculate the average PAR from most of these published PAR charts.
