Testing an efficient aeroponic pump spray system for growing off grid. Just testing the pressure this pump can make from a static water supply. It's hard to see, but all 9 nozzles are spraying very well for aeroponic use. I heard they only need to run for 15 seconds every 3-4 minutes. Should be sufficient to drive 4-5 growing drums like the artgarden peeps use, for a total of 36-45 nozzles, more than 200 plants in the system. I would recommend checking out their project, it's very cool. Anywhere you can find #2 plastic, also called HDPE, barrels or trash cans for the growing containers, I found mine at w-mart for $10. I'll make more videos as the greenhouse/arctic-entry progresses and the growing project as a whole. I would love ANY advice and ideas, especially in regards to dry nutrients and PH control. I'm a real noob in the gardening world, more of a techie.
This pump would be awesome for off grid growing. It should only use about 50Whrs/day, as in 0.050 kWhrs/day. Or on the grid, $1-2/month
